worship, discipleship, adult education
Daniel is passionate about the fellowship of believers, proclaiming God's greatness in music, and teaching the Bible. He experienced God's calling on his life a as teenager and was burdened to serve Christ in His church. Pursuing this vision Daniel studied music at Midwestern State University and later graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary. He joined the staff at Scofield in 2003 as the worship pastor. Over the years his ministry at Scofield Church has evolved, flowing from a heart for greater pastoral engagement, and today he serves as associate pastor and spends his time preparing and leading Sunday worship, engaged in Christian education and discipleship, counseling, teaching Sunday school, and preaching. A native Texan hailing from Wichita Falls he met his wife Amy while singing with the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company here in Dallas. Amy is a jr. high choir director with the Little Elm ISD, a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University (bachelors), and the University of North Texas (masters). They have twin daughters Mary Kay and Hope who love to sing and play sports.
